Publication made with Maria Barnas for the exhibition 'A for Alibi' from the 14 July - 19 Aug 2007 hosted by de Apple in Amsterdam.

'The Writing Room' can be found on the third floor of the house in Frankfurt where Johann Wolfgang Goethe was born on the 28th of August 1749. 'The Writing Room' was Goethe's domain. It was here that he wrote the first version of 'Faust' and 'The Sorrows of Young Werther'. All pictures were made to portray the authentic room as it was used by the writer and are taken from the archive of the Goethe Haus in Frankfurt.'
